The culture of Bharat (India) declares, ‘Deho devalaya prokto jivah Brahma sanatanah. (Body is the temple of Godand the indwelling spirit is eternally divine). The ancient andeternal Divinity assumes human form in order to show the Pathof Truth to man. Just as the son is the rightful heir to the father’sproperty, man has equal claim to God’s property of love,truth, forbearance, peace, and empathy. The Principle of Loveis supreme. Love is the underlying principle of all human values.

Love is God, live in love.Every human being is a messenger of God. Man should notwaste his life in merely eating, drinking, and sleeping. In factsuch a life is a blot on human nature itself. Every activity ofman should reflect the divine message.(SSS Vol.31, p. 466)

‘What you must develop is the Vision Divine

An awakening of intuition most fine;

For you are really here on a Holy Mission,

That of discovering what you are,

Whence you came from and whither you shall go’.

Jesus was full ofDivine qualities and was imparting the Divine message to those around him. Christ declared tothe world three important things: (1) God is one. (2) He is omnipotent. (3) Do not hurt anyone.God is the In-dweller in every being. Christ embarked on his mission and went about calling uponpeople to earn the love of God by developing love towards God.(SSS Vol.22, p. 129)

Most people feel the boundless joy of God s love as long as they are in the presence of Swami. But this feeling evaporates once they are in the environment of the outside world. You must see that the same sacred environment exists wherever you may be, by carrying your devotion wherever you go and spread the Divine message to every nook and corner of the country. Chant the name of the Lord wherever you are--in the village, in the street, in every home and in your speech and songs. This is the way to ensure that your love of God remains unshaken and unabated. (SSS Vol.28, p. 9)

Jesus propagated the divine message of Love. Hesaid, ‘Death is the dress of life.’ So, He said, one has to giveup body attachment and develop attachment to the spirit. Bodyis like a water bubble. It is merely a vesture of the individualsoul.(SSS Vol.31, p. 466)

Sanyasa Sukta ofMaha Narayanopanishadsays,‘Na karmana na prajaya dhanena, tyagenaike amrutattvamanasuhu (It is only sacrifice, not wealth, progeny, and action, that confers immortality.)’ If money and health are lost, theycan be regained, but if character is lost everything is lost.

Today man is striving hard for wealth and happiness, whileneglecting character. Truth and divine love constitute truewealth. If you earnestly follow the path of truth, you will notencounter any difficulties. How can you expect God to protectand confer His grace on you if you do not adhere to truth? Truedevotion lies in accepting both pleasure and pain with equalmindedness.Such a divine message should be passed on toothers.The true message is the message of Love. Share love witheverybody. There is no greater wealth than love.(SSS Vol.31, p. 469)

In Myopinion, the Messengers of Sathya Sai should take the lead inspreading the divine message throughout the country.(SSS Vol.32 Part II, p. 213)
