There are Vidyas. They are Anviksiki, Trayi, Varta, and Dandaniti.

Anviksiki Vidya is one by which one is able to discriminate between Atma and Anatma.

Trayi Vidya is one by which one can attain Swarga or Heaven, through the appropriate rituals and Karma.

Varta vidya also known as Varum vidya teaches Agriculture and other productive efforts.

The rulers and guardians of society, rule and guard according to Dandaniti vidya. It is essential for earning and enjoying riches and crops.

All, except the first, that is Anviksiki Vidya, plunge man into the cycle of births. (PraV, pp. 25-26)
