Many foreigners planned to stay in this country but many do not get this opportunity. You are born in Bharat. You breathe the air of Bharat. You drink the water of Bharat and you live on this earth of Bharat. But you are not able to know the nature of Bharat. So first know your life and the sacred nature of country. They are not able to understand the national interest in a way. The foreigners call the residents of this country Hindus. It is Bharatiyas not Hindu. Bharata is not the name of an individual. It is not an external name. It is a very powerful name.

Padma Patra Visalakshi, Padma kesara varnani,

Nityam Padmalaya Devi,

Samampatu Saraswati, Bhagavati, Bharati Nishesha Jadyapaha.

Bharati is the name of Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge. We call it as the name of the brother of Shri Ram or the son of Shakuntala. They had their names. But the name of Bharat was there even prior to that. (DTB Vol.7, pp. 11-12)
