The foremost need today is for everyone to realise that God is One. This is what Jesus and Mahomed proclaimed. The word ‘Allah’ really means the One Supreme which contains everything in the universe. This is the primary message of the Vedas: ‘Om Ithekaaksharam Brahma’ the single letter Om is Brahman. (SS Jan 85 , p. 4)
