It is only when you recognise your own faults that you can begin to understand the ways of Divine. What we witness to-day is the tendency to forget one’s own faults and go about blaming God for ones sufferings. Every action however small or trivial has its reaction. Nothing happens without a cause. Every object has its reflection. The Lord awards fruits according to one’s defects. Good actions earn good returns. Bad actions result in bad consequences. That is why the Lord is described as ‘Karmaphala pradata’- the dispenser or the fruits of Karma (action). (SSS Vol.20, p. 31)
