Mumukshu

One who desires liberation. (Glossary for the Vahinis)

Spiritual aspirant (SSS Vol.39, p. 66)

Moksha means liberation. All embodied beings long for liberation from the limitation that the embodiment connotes. Every living being is perforce a Mumukshu, that is to say, an aspirant for liberation, a practitioner of renunciation. One has to be a tyagi, versed in detachment. This is the final Truth, the indisputable Truth. (V Vahini, p. 18)

The dull-wired man runs about madly in pursuit of peace of mind ; trying this prescription for

some time and preferring another afterwards He is on the wrong path; the path of catering to the senses, the path beset by Rupa,Nama, and Guna (form, name, and quality) the path of the temporary and the apparent. But the mumukshu or the seeker after Moksha (Liberation) gets that Peace quite easily. (SSS Vol.2, p. 95)

Mumukshu (the seeker of Liberation) the entire time of the mind should be devoted to God realisation. This is the stage described in the Gita as Satatam Yoginah (always immersed in union with God). If you pursue your spiritual discipline, while regulating your daily life in the manner, discharging your daily duties, you are bound to become the recipient of God s grace.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna has declared that He and the Gita are one, When you reverentially study the Gita at home, you must regard the Gita as Krishna Himself installed in your shrine. Where Krishna and Gita reside, it is not a mere home but a temple. It has been declared that for those who have installed the Gita, the Ganga, the Gayatri and Govinda in their hearts, Moksha (Liberation) is certain. (SSS Vol.17, p. 57)
