Satyam, Shivam And Sundaram is full of meaning. It speaks of Me as immanent in every one of you, remember, satyam is the basic reality of you all that is why you resent being called a liar. The real ‘you’ is joy, happiness, auspiciousness. It is not shavam, it is Shivam; it is Shubham, nityam and anandam. How then can you hear being called otherwise? The real ‘you’ is beauty and you resent being called ugly. The atma has got entangled in the body which it does not like; it is weighted down by shame when you identify it with the body and attribute to it weakness and deficiencies of that physical vehicle.

There can be no satyam without Shivam; no Shivam without Sundaram. In order to know this, the intellect, the will and the heart which are the seats of jnana, karma and bhakti respectively, should be purified and made mature or ripe. When you come to know shiva in the light of sathya, you will yourself recognize the fact that it is Sundaram. These three are inseparably inter-related. Satyam Shivam Sundaram alone is the truth. My life-history too is Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Jnanam is satyam, karma is Shivam. Bhakti is Sundaram. This alone is the Triveni Sangamam (the Sacred Confluence of the holy rivers) (NNSG Vol.1, pp. 112-113)

 Implant such noble ideas in your heart and let them grow into huge trees and you give comfort under their shade to the needy. This is the only birthday gift Swami is asking from you. Swami does not need anything else. You will be happy and secure, that is your gift to Swami. You should set an ideal and example to others.

Improve and expand our Organisation as you go back to your places. Just don’t stop here. You should develop further day after day. Then only you can call yourselves as true devotees. Don’t waste the principles of the  Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer in you. Don’t hurt them. Do not misuse them. Then you will be committing a sin. Understand the principle of Trinity, the mother, father and the preceptor. Know the eternal truth that God is in you, you are God, He is within you. That is Satyam, truth, Shivam, auspiciousness and Sundaram, beauty. That is God. That is why Plato also said, truth, goodness and beauty. These three are life principles, let anybody from any country proclaim. Lead your life with these principles and keep up the sanctity and greatness of this country. (DTB Vol.8, pp. 10-11)
