Any instant solution (to overcome calamities) would go against the fundamental quality of nature itself, as well as the Karmic Law of cause and effect. Most people live in the material world of desire and ego. They reap the fruits of their action. This brings about evolution and devolution. If the Avatar intervenes to instantly solve all their problems, it would be stopping all action, all development, even solution. This solution can be ruled out, because it totally negates natural laws. (GA, p. 230)

Koorcho! (Sit down) You will hear God’s voice only in silence. How can you hear Him amidst your chatter? You must get the solution yourself; nobody can give you the solution, not even I. I will tell you why. If I give you a solution, you will not follow it fully if you don’t like it. So I say ‘Yes, Yes, Yes’, and when things don’t work out the way you would like them to, you ask, ‘Why did Baba do this to me?’ But I do not cause sorrow or joy.
