Krishna taught in the Gita that when you develop your spiritual knowledge, all your ignorance will vanish, then, your troubles, difficulties and sorrows will disappear. (DBG, p. 135)

The foremost knowledge obtained was that of the Spirit, for spiritual learning is supreme learning. All secular disciplines are like streams, whereas spiritual knowledge is like a mighty ocean. There four children (Rama, and his three brothers) also cultivated noble virtues and supreme qualities. The children cultivated qualities, which were not tainted by selfishness. They further mastered military arts like archery, swordsmanship and equestrian skills. The four brothers were past masters in horse riding and elephant riding. They rode so fast that people could hardly see them. It was Kaikeyi who initiated Rama into archery, as she was an expert archer herself. She taught Him military skills with great love and rare affection. (SSB 1996, p. 21)

Man should seek the gift of spiritual knowledge that can bring fulfilment of life. (LA, p. 8)
