The entire world is a manifestation of the three gunas. Of these three, Rajo and Tamo gunas are the source of trouble. For all sorrows, grief, trouble and problems, these two gunas are responsible. There are six attributes for Tamo guna - sleep, drowsiness, fear, anger laziness and inertia. (SSS Vol.17, p. 148)
