Be like a trustee so far as family, riches, reputation, knowledge, skills are concerned. Leave them aside when the call of death comes. (FDD, p. I3-4)

People have been speaking about Swami in many ways in connection with water supply. Swami is not happy with it. Nothing belongs to Swami. It all belongs to devotees. Their love has taken the form of water. Swami started with His Will to set an ideal for humanity. Swami is merely a trustee. Swami is a post runner. The contents of the post runner has nothing to do with them. Nothing belongs to Swami. It is not proper to say that Swami did this, Swami started that. God does not desire anything. There is nothing that God wants. Love is what you need to give God. (DTB Vol.1, p.5-6)
