He

First I next You.

I plus You equals We.

Then We plus He.

Then only He.

First I, then You. First I, that is life. Next You; that is the world.

I plus You is We. We plus He is God. Only He.

(CWBSSB, p. 7)

Krishna states in the Vibhuti Yoga that He is the light (Jyoti), prosperity (Aishvarya), courage (dhairya) and bliss (Ananda). (SSB 1979, p. 164)

There is no need to seek Truth anywhere else. Seek it in man himself: he is the miracle of miracles. Whatever is not in man cannot be anywhere outside him. What is visible outside him is but a rough reflection of what really is in him. The ancient belief was that Ishvara (God) ruled over the World, with Himself being outside it; this, the Indian seekers put to test through sadhana and revealed that God was and is in the world and of it. This is the first contribution of Indians to the spiritual world that God is not external to man, but, his very inner core. They declared that it is impossible to remove him from the heart where he has installed Himself. He is the very Atma, the soul of our soul; He is the inner Reality of each. (BPV, pp. 25-26)

All forms are He; all are He. You too are He, above and beyond the past, present and future. You are not this body which is tied up with time, and which is caught in the toils of Was, Is and Will be. Be ever fixed in this attitude, dwell constantly in the thought that You are of the nature of Parabrahman; thus, you grow into a jnani. (JV, p. 18)

Everything in this world is ephemeral, transitory; it is here today but it may not be here tomorrow. So, if you desire to crave for something, seek the Lord, who has no decline. Let all the pining and all the attachment be for the Lord: He alone is eternal; He is the source of all joy. (DhyV, p. 30)

He alone is the Brahmin, who has detached himself from all the things which are concerned with non-atmic ends. All other credentials are secondary. (UV, p. 36)

He derives as much ananda as the bhakta derives when He moves with him. In fact, when the bhakta takes one step towards Him, He takes ten towards him. That is the measure of His Grace and His ananda. The Lord is everywhere, in the house outside it, before, behind, beside the bhakta; but, men do not recognise Him or realise the value of so recognising Him. (SSS Vol.5)

God is Antaryami, and so when He is sought in the outer world, He cannot be caught. Love Him with no other thought; feel that without Him, nothing is worth anything; feel that He is all. Then you become His and He becomes yours. (SSS Vol.5, p. 245)
