Sharing is a Cosmic Joy. This is not ordinary joy, as it has a special effect. The Mother, the Mother Earth and Nature are the first and foremost living examples of Cosmic Joy. They shower  and pour with selfless love all the riches and resources without expecting anything in return, without iota of ego or pride for having done such a tremendous task. If sages and seers had not shared their profound knowledge, if the sweet waters of the rivers wished to be selfish, if the sun, the moon and the sky had not shared their lustre, what would have been our condition? Sharing is very vital in all aspects of life and plays a gigantic role for granting Cosmic Joy.

Sharing is the spirit of Joy, the spring of Joy,

The endless source of Joy, the flood gates to Joy.

The more you share - the more you grow.

the more you grow - the more you develop.

The more you develop - the more you shine. 

The more you shine - the more you expand.

You are an individual, can bring about an effect that affects the the whole body of creation, by compassionately sharing another person s grief or sorrow, because what you do to that person is being done to God Himself. That is why it creates His Cosmic Joy, because each person that is being affected by it is affecting and soothing the entire body of the Divine Being! The simple understanding is the we are one.
